One team for photo and video, wherever you say
Most couples hire a photographer and a videographer separately, then hope they stay out of each other's way. Troth Weddings puts both on one crew. You choose photo, video or both, and the same team plans the day as a single schedule: where the portraits happen, which window the film uses for the ceremony, and who stands where during the vows.
The network is built location by location: for each place listed below we introduce you to an independent partner photographer matched to it. We cover weddings of any size, elopements and small ceremonies, engagement sessions and proposals, wedding videography, and, afterwards, albums and prints. We do not plan weddings, book venues or recommend vendors; we take the pictures and make the film.
You contract with the photographer, not with us. Our part is the introduction, the price list, and staying in the loop until your gallery is delivered.
Where we shoot
We shoot in 32 places across the US and Canada, from cities such as Pittsburgh, New Orleans and Winnipeg to landscapes such as Sedona, Maui and Glacier National Park. Each place has its own page: the light, the spots, the license and the permits.
Marrying somewhere else? Name the place on the form. Travel is built into every quote.
From inquiry to gallery
It takes six steps, and the first is the form. Send your date and location. Within one business day we reply with the price list for your place and the recent work of the partner we would introduce. You talk with the photographer; if it fits, a deposit holds the date under their contract.
After that the relationship is between you and the photographer: a short questionnaire before the day, the day itself, then a sneak peek followed by the full gallery and film on the dates in your contract. How we match you with your photographer

When you inquire about your location, we introduce you to the partner photographer matched to it. We share their recent galleries and films and set up a call. You book directly with them; we stay in the loop until your gallery is delivered.
Partners join by invitation. Before we list anyone we review full weddings, not highlight reels, and how they handle contracts, backups and delivery.
Questions couples ask
01Do you plan weddings or book venues?
No. Troth Weddings photographs and films weddings; it does not plan them, broker venues or recommend vendors. If you have a planner or a coordinator, your photographer works alongside them. If you do not, they will still tell you what the timeline needs for the pictures and the film to work.
02Who do I sign a contract with?
With the partner photographer, not with us. We introduce you to one partner photographer for your location and stay in the loop until your gallery is delivered, but the deposit, the contract and the delivery dates are between you and the photographer. The photographer's own contract governs the booking.
03Why don't you publish prices?
Cost depends on the date, the team, the collection and how far we travel, so one number for every town would mislead. Instead we send a price list for your location, with the recent work of the partner we would introduce. Ask for it with the form; we reply within one business day.
04Can I book photo only or film only?
Yes. Every collection comes as photo, video, or both, with the same team on the day, so you can start with one and talk about adding the other on the call with your photographer. Say which you prefer in the form, or choose not sure yet and we will explain the difference.
